The way Wren handled that was wrong and while it most likely won't cost the team in the long run, I wouldn't be surprised if didn't have any affect on BIS (butts-in-seats) early on.<br /><br />The least Wren could have done was see how the first month or so turned out. If it wasn't working then just have Shurzzy talk Glavine into retiring as a Brave and make a huge ceremony out of it. Everyone wins. Tommy gets to retire a Brave, the fans love it and turn out in droves, tickets are sold, and Hanson gets a few more easy starts early on and maybe he comes out better for it in the end.<br /><br />The hitting, however, seems to be the bigger problem. I for one have no clue as to what should be done to fix it either. Maybe find a new hitting coach?Jessenoreply@blogger.com
